However, YOU are choosing not to. You are choosing not to because you know, not even all that deep down, that Zachary-Karigan shippers form the majority of your fanbase, and so leaving them still longing for each other even at the cost of diminishing all alleged "character growth" by Karigan, and assassinating poor Zachary's character altogether means you get to sell more books.

I live in the vindictive and petty hope that everyone drops your crappy books and moves on mirror sight book 5 reading serious fantasy authors with great romantic plots, like Brandon Sanderson and Jim Butcher and Ursula K.

Mirror Sight by Kristen Britain – Tenacious Reader

LeGuin Also, for someone who mirror sight book 5 to want her readers to focus on more than Karigan's love life, you sure didn't do much mirror sight book 5 it in this book. You know all everyone's talking about is Karigan's rebound relationship with Cade can I just say, insta-love was the only trope left unused in your novels and you finally got around to it!

Some people may wonder, Ms. Britain, why I am being so vitriolic about a book that is, after all, not badly-written or badly plotted.

But you know, don't you, Ms. Britain, that best friends make the worst enemies?

Mirror Sight

Also in this series: King Zachary sends Karigan and a contingent of Sacoridians beyond the edges of his nation, into the mysterious Blackveil Forest, which has been tainted with dark magic by a twisted immortal spirit named Mornhavon the Black.

Karigan convinces the professor and his assistant Cade Harlow that she is in fact the real Sir Karigan G'ladheon from years in their history. The professor explains that all knowledge of the empires history is restricted, and that the emperor who now rules is merciless, powerful and immortal.

They also explain that Arhys, a young girl the professor employs as a maid is the last living descendant of king Zachary and that she is unaware of her royal bloodline.

Finally the professor confesses that Cade is in training to become Arhys bodyguard, a new generation of Weapon. Instead of the handbrake-turn that I thought the author had made, Mirror Sight is simply a lengthier exploration mirror sight book 5 a necessary time-jump.

Karigan has already travelled in time before in this series, but never for this long and never with mirror sight book 5 much on the line.
